About VitalLife
An independent health and wellness publication — clear, evidence-informed reading for everyday wellbeing.
Who we are
VitalLife is a small, independent publication covering nutrition, fitness, sleep, and everyday wellbeing. We are writers and researchers — not doctors, dietitians, or licensed trainers — and we don't pretend to be. Our role is to read the research and turn it into articles you can actually use.
Every article is researched from peer-reviewed studies and guidance published by public health bodies such as the CDC, WHO, NIH, and NHS, along with position statements from professional organisations. Where the evidence is mixed or evolving, we say so plainly rather than pick a side.
Everything on VitalLife is general educational content. It is not medical advice and it is not a substitute for a conversation with your own doctor, registered dietitian, or qualified coach. Please read our Medical Disclaimer and Editorial Policy before acting on anything you read here.
What we don't claim
- We are not a clinical practice and we do not diagnose or treat any condition.
- We do not hold ourselves out as certified personal trainers, registered dietitians, or licensed medical professionals.
- We do not publish personalised programmes, dosages, or medical recommendations. Anything that looks like a plan on this site is a general educational example.
How we work
Evidence First
We build articles from peer-reviewed studies and public health guidance from sources like the CDC, WHO, NIH, and NHS — not from other blogs.
Plain-Language Education
Our job is to translate research into everyday language. We publish general educational content, never diagnosis, treatment, or personalised medical advice.
Reader-First & Independent
VitalLife is reader-supported and editorially independent. Any affiliate or ad relationships are disclosed and never dictate what we cover.
Honest About Limits
We are writers and researchers, not clinicians. When evidence is uncertain, we say so — and we always point you back to a qualified professional for personal decisions.
What you'll find here
Nutrition articles
Explanations of common questions — protein needs, hydration, mindful eating, meal planning — grounded in current dietary guidelines rather than trends.
Fitness & movement guides
General guides on strength training, HIIT, mobility, recovery, and building a home workout habit. Every guide reminds you to work within your own ability and to consult a qualified trainer or clinician for personal programming.
Everyday health tools
Simple calculators (BMI, calorie estimates, macros) offered as educational reference points — not as clinical assessments.
